I for one have had enough of Ivy League educated law students occupying the White House - Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, and now Obama. Enough already! The last president who was not an Ivy League elitist was none other than Ronald Reagan.
Brilliant people very often only give us brilliant rationalizations for their brilliant mistakes. Weren't we told that Rhodes Scholar Bill Clinton was the smartest president ever? We are told Obama's IQ is so high you can't measure it.
Obama and his fellow wizards of smart in Washington have given us dizzying debt that future generations will pay for, near double digit unemployment, falling income, and a financial and housing crisis resulting in the worst economy since the Great Depression. The recession has been caused by and prolonged by our government, not by the free market private sector.
The so called smartest people in the country are rushing to replace the best healthcare system in the world with government run rationed healthcare, cripple our economy with "Cap and Tax" policies in the name of discredited science, and erode our unique culture with amnesty and citizenship for illegal aliens.
The vast majority of Americans are opposed to all of Obama's destructive policies. Socialized healthcare and "Cap and Tax" policies are proven failures in other countries but Obama is rushing at breakneck speed to implement these policies in America. This is a power grab by our government in an effort to control the people and make us servants of the government. Elected elitists in Washington are stripping away our individual freedoms. So much for a government of the people by the people.
I want a real person for president who is not an elitist and knows in their heart what is best for America. A true conservative with the courage to criticize Obama for his destructive policies. A conservative who believes in American exceptionalism and stands for lower taxes, limited government, free markets, strong national defense, using our abundant domestic energy resources, right to life, and traditional values.
The Left and the elitists in the Republican Party know who this person is. They are terrified of her because they know she is electable! Sarah Palin is a genuine person who has all the right issues and policies. She is a rock star because everyday hard working Americans relate to her. Many Americans look at the Palin's and see similarities in their own families - a hard working couple with a son who is a hero for serving in the military, daughters involved in sports, and for millions of Americans, a special needs child who the Palin's view as a gift from God.
Media elitists such as Maureen Dowd, Kathleen Parker, and Peggy Noonan are afraid of Sarah Palin because she is a traditional values working mom who with her husband raises their own kids. Elitists who attack Sarah Palin and her family are sick people. Those on our side who attack Sarah sound like terrified little Katie Couric's. All suffer from Palin Derangement Syndrome.
Most Americans are conservative in some form of their life and identify with one or all of the basic conservative principles of limited government, lower taxes, strong national defense, and traditional values. The Republican Party needs a candidate with passion who can genuinely articulate these conservative principles to contrast Obama's un-American socialism. No one can do that better than Sarah Palin because she speaks with common sense from her heart to the American people. She does not need to use polls and focus groups before taking a stand on an issue. Americans want patriotic leadership. Alaska's former governor loves America and she can win.
Before her resignation, Sarah Palin was America's most successful governor. In less than three years she accomplished more than most governors accomplish in eight years. Palin cut Alaska's spending by 10%, reduced Alaska's request for federal funds by a whopping 80%, fought corruption in her own party, and successfully secured a new Alaska pipeline agreement that will deliver Alaska's abundant natural gas to the lower 48. The Alaska natural gas line project (known as AGIA) was spinning in the wind for 30 years before Sarah Palin made this act of energy independence a reality.
These are facts that the inside the beltway snobs on FOX News do not want you to know about. They want you to believe that she is not intelligent, well read, ready for the job, or worldly. Sarah Palin is smarter and savvier than all of these elitists. She is an American success story not because of who she married, but because of her own hard work and talent.
After the 2008 election Obama and his allies in the state run media set out to destroy Sarah Palin with their Chicago style thuggery because they know she can win in 2012. Sarah outsmarted Obama by stepping down as governor. Obama thought he had his enemy isolated in Alaska so he could destroy her reputation. Now Obama must go back to his hero Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals playbook to come up with another plan.
Palin is the only Republican that the Left is afraid of. You don't see anyone attacking Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, or Mike Huckabee do you?
The more the media snobs attack Sarah Palin the more that tells you she is our best candidate for 2012. If you thought Howard Dean screamed loud in Iowa, just wait until you hear the Left scream if Sarah Palin runs for president in 2012.
